Preservation of large Douglas Fir trees on its wooded lot dictated the sitting of this new Arts and Crafts style home. Exposed wood structure and trim create the character of the house, which is constructed of engineered and recycled wood products. Living spaces are organized on two floors and include a separate guest suite. Located away from the main house is a detached garage and workshop. The home was selected as a Seattle Times/AIA Home of the Month.
